Interesting how the sound of a language can strike people in such different
ways! For me, the first time I heard Rumantsch, it struck me as a cross
between Italian and German. Now I'm so used to it (cause I listen to it all
the time, as it's one of my absolute favorite languages) that it just sounds
like Rumantsch to me, and I'll probably end  up saying of some other
language, "hey, that sounds kinda like Rumantsch!"
