So, Australian "bait" would sound like American "bite"? That would
explain the pronunciations I've heard on Farscape, which is made in
Australia with mostly Australian actors, but one American actor. The
American actor uses /krejs/ for the name of a character, while the other
say /krajs/
So, how do Aussies say the American /aj/, as in the pronoun I?
