Only if you say it slowly. And add a touch of
_shorn_

All the same as in 'hot'.
I was thinking more about what I said about "talk"
and "law", analysing my speech a bit more. The
vowel in "law" is definately a diphthong, as I
said, and the vowel in "talk" is phonemically
identical but phonetically more pure. However,
this is only because it stops just before the
glide in anticipation of the unvoiced 'k'.
