I'd like to see some sort of rationale before I add it to the page. What do the colours stand for? I assume purple is still creativity? What's the black and white? Without the shapes to match, the symbolism can't be the same as the other flags, but it has to mean something. The mouth is a bit cartoonish for my taste.

Hmm, OK, well, obviously compromises are inevitable; what is needed is a flag representing some midpoint between the suggestions advocated by those who prefer the simplest designs and the suggestions advocated by those who prefer the most intricate designs. The design *could* be simplified - the most obvious way would be to get rid of the vowel diagram (which is not necessary) and move the rest down a bit (to make it more vertically centred). I'd still prefer to have the tongues meet in a knot at the centre, but having them back-to-back was just a way of making them easier to draw. Personally, I think the reconciliation flag is kind of cool: http://www.ausflag.com.au/new/recon.html BTW, compromise also has to be the way to go in choosing the right shade of purple - for those people who advocate a flag with purple on it. After I've posted this, I'll update the site so that the light purple is a tad darker and the dark purple a tad lighter, in the hope that we can eventually "centre in" on a compromise shade (of course, we may very well end up choosing a design with no purple in it at all, such as a variation on David's). Adrian. P.S. My feeling is that when 24 hours pass with no new submissions and no new comments on existing submissions, that should mark the moment to start thinking seriously about a selection process.
