Am I the only one whose main thought seeing purple is cheap German porn?
I've developed that rather annoying mindlink thanks to the innumerous
mags showing scantily clad girlies (w/naughty bits covered by easily
removable black tape), proudly tied up in various forms of furry cuffs
in various pinkish-purplish colors (or weirdly placed/posed on purple
furry chairs etc.), prominently displayed in newspaper kiosks and
supermarket magazine-stands seemingly anywhere and everywhere I go
(placed so high up the kiddies can't easily see 'em, and at the same
time smack dab straight in the line of vision for those of approximately
average adult height... one quickly has to develop a ground-studying,
neck-hurting posture to self-censor that height-range of wall...
probably similar to the webpage ad-blindness one masters after a while I
assume.) My recent vacation in Amsterdam didn't change that connotation.
Back in the eighties, purple (coupled with lemon yellow or various
greens) was of course the hallmark of fashion-victims everywhere.
