A different way of thinking about syntax :) For example, the bit about
coordination rather than subordination.

The fact that the vocabulary appears small, but that you have to
supplement that with idiomatical compounds such as "tomo tawa" =
"car", effectively increasing the vocabulary (since such combinations
are basically lexicalised) -- a bit like the Basic English, where you
have to learn not only the 850(?) words but also all the idiomatical
combinations as separate lexical items.
And the fact that the language is often vague; I believe this is
intentional, but it sometimes makes it a little annoying to express
something specific. Maybe it's best for using when you're stoned and
your thoughts revolve around "it's all good, man" and need no deep
elaboration?
