I've seen Ithkuil (<http://home.inreach.com/sl2120/Ithkuil/>), which is
definitely not misguided. It's extremely well-thought out; John Quijada is a
genious-- so much so that, in fact, one of the members of the Zompist Board
said, "Ithkuil is notable in being the only life-threatening conlang."
Methinks a huge amount of linguistic study-- lots of uni degrees and the
like-- are required to make a really good conlang like the one Jörg seems to
be looking for (Ithkuil restricts itself to 3600 triconsonantal roots).
I am not insulting Dubblex, Jeffrey; I like that project and would
definitely be disappointed if you ever scrapped it!
