Hmmm, I don't intuitively parse /?Oj?/ as a painful interjection...
Is there any specific cultural background you're refering to? An
instance in literature or a movie?

Hehe, now this one's clear. I actually have something very similar
in Obrenje: The verb |uc-| /Mx/ means "to push".
The noun |dula| for "music" triggers associations to German "dudeln"
(to tootle) or certain archetypical yodeling lyrics. For some reason,
someone in the Planet Pii chatroom considered the word |ula| for
"romantic love" funny. ;-) And finally, the word |dzhon| "nap" is
dedicated to Jonathan North Washington, who is always about to take a
nap when you meet him on IRC. ;-)
Built-in chuckles in conlangs are fun; too bad I don't have many of
them yet, although sometimes Jovian's borrowings from German strike
me as funny (e.g. |biore| /bi@r/ "beer" or |loedi| /lAjdi/ "people").
