Because that was not HTML, it was
Content-Type: text/enriched; charset=us-ascii
X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.337
Which should mean that it is some kind of XML that Apple Mail should
be able to interprete well. My MSOE showed only the <italic> tag as
italic, discarding the <fontfamily> and other tags.
