Looking forward to the answer. I can't offhand think of any such exceptions in Spanish........ There are of course some exceptions to the final -e (final -a in Span.) apparently all old loans from Greek: el poeta, el problema, el drama and some others.... Same in Fr. I'd assume. And we could add IIRC: Fr. nouns in -tude are Feminine (or is that subsumed under "final e"?).
