I've had people insisting that I must be Swedish because I speak Swedish
and look Swedish -- i.e. am not a "blackhead" in their lamentable parlance.
I can't see why the Swedish quarter of my ancestry must be automatically be
more important than the other three.  In the worst cases I just blurt out
some insult in Icelandic.  Icelandic isn't part of my mix -- "genetically"
speaking, but it tends to be effective in terms of making them shut up.

(Hey, John, did you know that "kaun" is the name of the K rune in Old Norse?)
