Of course, the former is no longer true. I don't know about the latter. But there is something we should do. We should come up with causes for all the mess. I'll admit it, while not inconsistent, IB history certainly needs a cause. And indeed, I've tried to make one as best as possible for my bits. However, there are far too many PODs. I think we need to unify them into one, single POD. For instance, in China, the POD was the lack of significant foreign involvement in the far east, and, for some reason, Japanese disarmament. The latter certainly has problems. What we need is a unifying force, a single break, which caused all others.
