Er.. yeah, in the name of information, I posted a correction to my
claim in another message which was probably ignored. They're deaf and
mute, I think.

Well, the website I was led to said the Rikchiks have "no sense of
hearing",
which by many definitions means "deaf". (That sounds more sarcastic
than I
intend).
