May I thank all who have written to me privately in the last couple of days?

I'm completely overwhelmed - it *SO* different from when I quitted AUXLANG!

I was particularly struck by messages from people who 'listen' quietly on
this list but don't normally send mails.  The 'feather' I was mailed to add
to my pillow before I slept on my decision to quit was much appreciated  :-)

I really don't know what to say.  This list really is a great place.

How can I ever leave after this?
