Dear other conlangers,

hereby I publish the english version of a grammar for my first auxiliary language
XETA and hope on your comments. You are invited to visit my website and

1. Grammar

a) Alphabet: A E I L N O P Q S T U V X. The alphabet is only a written form for
possible regional variations: N can stand for N and M , P represents P and B, Q
represents Q, G and K, S represents S, C and Z, T stands for T and D, V for V,
F and W. X can be spoken like SH, CH etc..

b) No capital letters.

c) Syllabus structure is always CV and CVC, only the connectors can also be V, VC and VCV.
d) There are the following syllables

LA LE LI LO LU
NA NE NI NO NU
PA PE PI PO PU
QA QE QI QO QU
SA SE SI SO SU
TA TE TI TO TU
VA VE VI VO VU
XA XE XI XO XU

e) Nouns end always on: A in singular, plural on I
f) verbs end in present on E, in past on O, in the future on U. Conjunctive is represented by –L.
You have always to add personal pronouns and nouns: A = I, E = you, I = we, O =
their, U = they. When you use he/ she/ it you leave out the pronoun and take
just the verb.

g) Adjectives end on –N, comparative on –X and superlative on –P
h) Adjectives can stand right before or after their related nouns.
i) QA is a prefix for no-
j) Sentences are always SPO.
k) Questions are always PSO or POS.
l) Numbers end on S (1-9), T (10-90), Q (100-900), V (1000-9000)
