    Seems  _Star Trek_-ish to me. But even on the latest _Star Trek:
Voyager_, they have Neelix as ship's cook & he gathers & grows foods & cooks
food on a wok-like contraption.  There is somethin' to the idea of food grown
& cooked versus food synthesized & mass-produced ...
