8. poultice pengopi (related to the word for 'glue'.  I'm not sure poultices
would be much favored by the Kash-- they'd make a terrible mess on the fur,
and might even require (gasp) shaving a patch.  And then you wouldn't want
to appear in public until the fur grew back....)

The witch concocted a simple poultice of yams.

This requires severe re-phrasing....

On 2nd thought, you could keep the original phrase order, but the
cause-effect relationship wouldn't be as clear:

çañukmi, kuna yalarandasa, kendipun yatitasa re etc....
I-suppose, maybe it-succeeded, if-only she-ordered that..etc..
