My name is Rik Roots - this is my real name (before anyone asks)

I am 36, I live in London, England, and I work as a civil servant in
the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions -
currently in the Housing Directorate, where I look after publications
and the housing part of the DETR website.

I speak English, specifically esturine English. People have tried to
teach me French and German, and failed. I am trying to teach myself
Spanish at the moment.

My music is mainly ska, though I will admit to liking Glam Rock after
a few pints of lager.

My conlang is Gevey, which forms part of my conculture based on the
planet of Kalieda. One day I shall turn them into science fiction
novels and make lots of money.

Currently my main interest is writing poetry - there's a link at the
bottom of the message for the inquisitive types...
