The use of colors might turn out to take on a religious meaning. In
Christianity, white would be Sunday (the Resurrection), Friday red (the
Crucifiction), Wednesday purple (one of the two days of fasting in the
Eastern Church), Saturday blue (the Jewish Sabbath), Monday green (new
week), la dee da...
In Islam, Friday might be identified with green, since it's the day of
public assembly and green represents Islam.
