When taliesin just announced that he came up with a word for "if" in
his conlang, I realized none of my langs had a word for "if". So I
decided to come up with an adverb for Igur and Noth based on what
would be a conditional form of "to do". Then I decided to actually
make it a surviving feature in Nazya, the other half of the family.
Here's what I have:
Igur (Northeast Teq): Si ügme ivit, ta si šasan evit.
Gloss: I if go-1st, you I look for see-1st
Noth (Northeast Teq): Iviš oidmi ši, dodwoš tia ši.
Gloss: Go-1st if I, FUTURE-look for-1st you I
Erog (South Teq): Ši numaš ugmš, ši gumš zetš sisi
Gloss: I go-1st if-1st, I look for-1st then-1st you-ACC
Kur (Nazya): Gìzám hè, hàzgìzu hàsk.
Gloss: 1st-go-COND I, FUTURE-1st-find you-ACC
Zotm (Nazya, descended from Kur): Høzam høgødzu gøsk
Gloss: I-go-COND I-FUTURE-find you-OBJ
