If it's the sound I'm thinking of, is it the diphthong /Vi/ such that some
people would write "about" as "abight"? If so, that's Ulster Irish as
notoriously spoken (sorry, shouted) by Ian Paisley. Sorry, can't bring
myself to call him reverend.
