Why, thank you, Sarah! How nice of you to say that. I'm very proud of it.
I'm going to Berkeley this April to say something else about Conlangs,
especially Celtic-based conlangs. And then to Kalamazoo in May to say
something about early conlanging.
Have
> you published other stuff online, that isn't about conlanging?
Only a ton of crapola over on IAFA-L (International Association of the
Fantastic in the Arts Listserv), half a ton of crapola on ANSAX-L
(Anglo-Saxon Studies Listserv), a quarter ton of crapola on ENGLISC (Old
English Composition Listserv), and a minute bit of humble suggestions on
MEDFEM-L (Feminist Studies of Medieval Literature Listserv). So, no,
nothing "officially" published. The "Audience and Conlang" article was
referreed, so it made it doubly valuable to me. I'm hoping to get it
paper-published elsewhere in longer form.
As for paper-publishing, I've done a lot of that. <G> And most of it on
medieval literature and language, fantasy, science fiction, and film. Not
under this name, though! :)
