a = a in cake
e = e in beet
i = i in bite
o = o in boat
u = eu in eucalyptis
(I didn't right any special marks or accents because I
didn't know if they would be readable when after I
sent the email)
When I was inventing this language, I kept getting
confused with my diphthongs, because my Spanish
studies suggested these combinations - ai, ei, oi, ui,
but my English backround gave other suggestions ay,
aw, ou, etc. To remember, I just decided that
whatever the name of the vowels is, that is its
diphthong. So, whenever I forgot whether "a" is ai
(like in kite) or ay, I just had to say my ABCs.
