So when people repeatedly give me linguistics 101 to correct me for
something I didn't say, that's not treating me like an idiot or a newbie or
a linguistic illiterate? Forgive me for getting a little angry after the
umpteenth message arrives in my box saying the same thing and attacking the
position I do not have! You don't have to actually say "you are an idiot,
take linguistics 101" - lecturing me works just fine.

Me: "OK, is everyone through NOT reading my posts and NOT listening to me?"

nothing new is coming out of this argument."

*deep breath.* Certainly nothing new is coming out of this argument,
because no one seems to be actually *reading* my posts except for Nik
Taylor. Yes, I'm really getting angry, because I'm being treated like an
idiot. My tone is certainly off. My tone will be fine once people stop
lecturing me!
