OK, so if voicing is going to be morphologically significant like tone, then nasals might not work; all voiceless nasals tend to sound alike to me. Voiceless aproximants like /j_0/ and /w_0/ sound distinct enough, though, I think. -- Jim Henry http://www.pobox.com/~jimhenry/
