Thanks for that. But does anyone know how to get lowercase eth? When I type multi+d+-, I get barred d, which looks the same in uppercase but different in lowercase. Also, is there same way to make more of them to get at Unicode characters? It's nice to be able to directly enter IPA chars in GTK+2, but that only works in GTK+2. (I'm using XFree86 4.3.) Tristan.
