There is an interesting note in "Cassell's New Latin Dictionary" at
the "sesqui" entry: (perhaps from semis/que).  I guess the etymology
of the word is not known for certain.

In the Senyecan lexicon is the entry:
séém-a, t.v., to halve, to bisect.
    -in, adj. half, hemi-, demi-, semi-.
    -on, half.
    -un, halfbreed, hybrid.
(I don't know how I'm going to translate hemidemisemiquaver)???

Ordinal numbers are not declined, but other adjectives are.  "and a
half" is translated using the co-ordinating enclitic -cwe, e.g., one
and a half would be oí sém__cwe, the blanks being filled in
with the
appropriate declensional ending.

oí    seemómicwe   ààbelómi     mun    gháva.
one  half-MOT-and  apples-MOT  I-NOM  have-IND

MOT = motive case, the case of the direct object.

P.S. What is this "trigger" that everyone is talking about?  I
haven't been able to get the meaning from the messages.

And a rambling: It sure would be nice if there were a "save" function
