In Tairezazh, "blue eyes" translate as _shodhen skeiv_, consisting of _shodh_
[SOD] "eye", the pl ending _-(e)n_ and _skeiv_ "blue", the later having
approximately the same semantic range as the English term.
It may interest nobody that _Daiven Shodin Skeiv_, or "Houses of Blue Eyes",
is the name of a Tairezan construction company/organization, which is involved
in some rather ... suspect dealings with regard to the reconstruction after
the recent Altaian war. This story has absolutely nothing to do with the
controversy regarding Iraqi reconstruction - it was concocted well over a year
ago. The DSS's "logotype" is a stylized blue eye with lengthy lashes.
