French. The symbol used in IPA looks like an inverted <h>. Various
symbols are used in ASCII-IPA schemes, such as /j<rnd>/ /;h/ /h&/, /w"/
and /H/. It occurs, for instance, in the French word <huit>, eight.
/j<rnd>it/, I think.
