Well, I use Adobe Acrobat nowadays, but before that, I used a PDF printer
driver. If you install such a driver under windows and direct it to print to
a file (there a a lot of parameters involved though) it allows you to print
from any Windows application to a PDF file.

However, once you got Adobe Acrobat you never want anything else again.
