"Silent e" is a quirk of the orthography, which was frozen at a time when
final e was still being pronounced. None of my conlangs have quirks like
that (although, s in front of stops becomes /S/)

Wels is a celtic language. I dont think it has the "silent e". I havent
really studied it though.
