OT: Death euphemisms (was Re: OT: Prayer, ritual and magic // was conlang website)

The only one I know is the cessative aspect of _klái_ (to live) -
fakláitasla, "(s)he stopped living".

Probably some fire-related euphemisms, as cremation is used.

"Sleeps with the fishes" is for a mob hit, and "bony-foot" I've never
heard before.

ObPersonal: I tend to use "is dead" or "died", except in referrence to
my father, where I tend to say "is deceased".

Reminds me of the famous Dead Parrot Skit.  :-)
