I'd fill these two with '-' or blanks... will that be allowable?
> Alias *
> Your e-mail address *
Ack. Will it be spam-harvester-proofed in any way if it is shown publicly?
Changing 'foo@bar.edu' to 'foo at bar edu' is usually enough but one can
also replace all the symbols with the equivalent html numerical entities.
> Conlang(s) *
> Natlang(s) *
I interpret this as 'what is your natlang', L1. Maybe which L2s that are good
enough to use for communication in addition. Would this field cover both?
> Your homepage address
> A picture of you
> Your gender
> Your birthday
With or without year? What format will it be entered as?
International? yyyy-mm-dd
American? mm/dd/(yy)yy
English? dd/mm/(yy)yy
German (and Norwegian)? dd.mm.(yy)yy
Maybe a separate field for all and a drop-down list of month-names would
be best. Or a maybe, just picking year and not the exact date... Somewhere
out there there's always a crook that would love to steal your identity.
> Your country
How will this be entered, a text-field? A drop-down-list for this one has
its obvious problems when the name of your country doesn't start with
'A' or 'B'. One fun effect of having a country in the 'middle' of the list
is that it tends to be overlapped by lists of later countries and thus
becomes nigh impossible to select.
