Okay, so the g is not pronounced, making the Ajuk of Saalangal
"Saalanal", or, in fast speech, pro'ly just "Salanal".

Sounds and phonology and phonetics and such have always facinated me, so
I'm enjoying this a great deal.

Maybe a new sort of relay, where the first message is in a conlang (or
maybe even in English, or some other language) and it is given just with
a phonological transcription, and each person has to adapt it into their
language's phonology, in the manner that a speaker of their conlang
would percieve it when spoken by a speaker of the Conlang that preceeded
it in the relay. It'd be fun to see if the person who started it could
comprehend the final version, and which languages changed it the most.

Anyways, just a thought.

Also, are the new Saalangal webpages up yet?
