In the STTNG episode Tin Man it's made clear that Tam Elbrun is a rare
case of a Betazoid born with fully developed telepathy. Even Deanna found
his behaviour uncomfortable as he violated social codes that his society
took for granted.
Would a Betazoid language have a single word for the iris of an eye?
