Wierd, I always thought that US English maintained alot more older forms
of English than the Modern British English does..

On the subject of 20 words, I expect alot can be done with a base word
and then add suffix and prefix depending on what is happening..

Example:

Em=emotion
Ne=Negative
Ma=Major

Basically put everything on a sliding scale. Colors are easy in this
way, since they shift from red to blue.. So all you need to do to
describe a color is tell the start point and how far down the spectrum
you are going.. Of course do you start with Red or Blue? Or in the
middle, which is ....
