I had already thought of that possibility myself, but
sincerely I find it harder to associate /Z/ to <c> than
to <x>; maybe because, with the exception of Turkish,
<c> is not usually assigned to a voiced sound, while
letter <x> is voiced not only in Albanian, but also
in many cases in English (think of "example",
"xylophone"...) and French (think of "aux armes"...).
Besides, even English uses <c> for /S/ in some words
like "ocean", and "c" is what you find in common in
among "ch", "sc" and "sch", used for /S/ respectively
in French, Italian and German.
Anyway, it's just a matter of practising it a bit
and getting used to it.
Cheers,
Javier
