Well, more than one Catholic saint was an anti-semite. ::shrug::
But I believe that Isidore of Seville is now the patron saint of
programmers.
Gottschalk, whom someone else mentioned, is the one about whom I'd read.
As for Hildegaard, she was conlanger? I must have missed those posts.
