I think we are agreed then. I think the better interpretation is one that
sees these things in their original historical & cultural contexts but also
leaves certain flexibility for one to empirically update/adapt from the
original source/paradigm (IMMHO, any form/sect of religious faith or
philosophy that has this capacity implicitly with/in it has (r)evolutionary
potential(s)).
