That'd be just [sut] or [sjut] here. No longer than that vowel
sound is in any other word, and shorter than it is in e.g. "soon".

I have never even heard an [S] in <assume>. It's always either an [sj]
or aplain [s]. And as with most of the [ju]/[u] distinctions, the former
sounds somewhat snotty/affected to me.
