Speaking of which... Anyone care to speak about deixis (or deictic
systems)? Not to the point Steg is mentioning, but I've heard some
natlangs (Native American?) have incredibly complicated deixis systems,
including time and space indicators, things like "the one upstream"
or "the one behind the hill or mountain". I'm really interested about
this topic, so I'll thank any contributors.
