Evolution theory is more than mere Darwinism. Real biologists worry
about whether something is or is not "Darwinian" about as often as we
worry about whether or not something is "Watson-Cricket". It's the
theoretical edifice as a whole that matters, not whether or not it
adheres to a 100-year-old prototypic version of the current synthesis.
