Translating 'The Selfish Giant' into Uusisuom

I am currently in the process of translating the Oscar Wilde children's
story 'The Selfish Giant' into Uusisuom to help students of the language:

'Every afternoon on their way home from school, the children used to go and
play together in the giant's garden. It was a large, lovely garden, with
soft green grass. Here and there beautiful flowers like stars stood gently
nodding over the grass, and there were twelve peach trees that in
spring-time broke out into delicate blossoms of pink and pearl, and in the
autumn bore rich fruit.'
