In most dialects, there is a restriction on the number of
morae per syllable to 2 per syllable. Different dialects
handle this in different ways. Some, like the standard,
unround the vowel and turn it into the nearest glide (the
protoform is from C'|ali *_möu_ and *_töu_ respectively).
Other dialects monopthongize it to get the following:
3 meo mul
4 teo tul
Still others obliterate a distinction entirely, to get:
3 myu myul
4 tyu tyul
