Not quite. Say you search for all people in the US. Then, while looking
at the results, you can click on other fields and search within the results
for people matching both attributes. (Grr, I can tell I'm not making
myself very clear. Maybe just go look at SourceForge? A picture's worth a
thousand words, so they say...)

Yes. Frinstance, if I don't care when people joined YUM, I'd like to
delete that from my view.
