Help! I've destroyed a language!

I've just lost my entire lexicon. I know, it's stupid to keep all your eggs
in one basket, but all three thousand words of the Rhean language were in
a .xls spreadsheet in a .zip file. Talk about asking for disaster.
Naturally, all the other files in the .zip work fine. Only the precious
lexicon is "corrupt".
Does anyone know how to recover a "corrupt" file from a .zip archive? This
will not extract or anything. There seems to be no way to access it. If I
could only somehow get a look at what's left, even if only in text format,
that would be something. Not nothing. Oh God please not nothing.

Help would be appreciated to an inexpressible and unfathomable degree,
