I was thinking, FWIW, more like this: <clause type=3D"main" ...> <phrase type=3D"noun" case=3D"erg" trans=3D"my ... ..."> <word pos=3D"det" agree=3D"pos" person=3D"1s" hon=3D"MGH" trans=3D"my"> edo </word> <word pos=3D"..." ... ...> qoiqoi </word> </phrase> <phrase type=3D"verb" ...> ... </phrase> </clause> Obviously the <word> can be split into morphemes also. But this still leaves the semantics completely undefined; no single "trans" attribute, even per entity, is good enough. Maybe it's a crazy idea entirely.
