you don't need to do any conlang homework. stray as you like. to go back to=20
wenetaic, i did not get your example right i think. but you may be intereste=
d=20
in ainu (SVO lang) possessive suffixes : a lot of words are plain nouns when=20
suffixed a possessive pronoun and their plain form is otherwise part of=20
compound, adjective or applicative (i feel that applicatives are used to=20
ditransitivize verbs) :=20
can't reach my ainu grammar so i invent these :
hat-one's =3D "a hat" (n.)
head-hat-put =3D "to put a hat on one's head" (appl.)
hat =3D "hat-related" (adj., cpd.)
also, the possessive tags are usually same as the verbal person tags :
hat-his =3D a hat, his hat
brother-one's take-his =3D the brother takes
food-one's it-take =3D he food is taken
