Where "eskib" is pronounced /@'skIb/, I assume. But that doesn't yield "bitter" for us rhotic types. :) There are several YouTube videos of people singing a song backwards and then reversing the stream so you can hear what they're doing... but I don't think actual phonetic reversal at that level of detail is likely to show up as a linguistic feature. -- Mark J.
