OT: sci-fi Re: has anyone made a real conlang

Other the the fact that some sci-fi books deal (in varying degress) with
languages and transcultural communication, I don't believe the conlang list
is a place to debate the generic merits of sci-fi novels, or on whose
ideas/opinions of hard science, probablity and sense (common or otherwise)
they might be based.
